The "Carbon Management Energy Efficiency" Report - produced through the Carbon Trust by Intra Consulting and funded by Invest NI - reviews the magnitude and extent of organic and food waste in Northern Ireland. Results from the study were determined using a combination of methods, including engagement with a range of public and private sector organisations.
The report found that within the region there is a dynamic and changing situation, with private & public sector organisations engaged in a range of initiatives to reduce, recycle or beneficially utilise organic and food wastes.
